The Aldershot community is located in the west end of Burlington, Ontario. It features beautiful scenery of the bay, parks, trails, and beautiful greenery. The Aldershot neighbourhood was one of the earliest established areas in Burlington.
Alex Brown built Browns Wharf in Port Flamborough (now known as Aldershot) when he first relocated to Burlington from Waterdown.
Combined, both Aldershot neighbourhoods (Central & South) are sometimes known as Aldershot Village.
