January may get the credit for fresh starts, but September is when Burlington truly feels like it begins again.School doors open. Arenas get busy. Weeknight activities return, and everyone settles back into a familiar routine. But before the calendars become completely packed, there are some great reasons to get out and reconnect with our community.
- Canada’s Largest Ribfest returns to Spencer Smith Park from September 4 to 7. Along with great food, live music and family fun, the event supports the charitable work of Rotary Burlington Lakeshore. Learn more about Ribfest.
- On September 12, Burlington residents can enjoy a free meal while sharing their thoughts at Food for Feedback in Central Park. The City will be asking for input on topics including the municipal election, the 2027 budget, transit, recreation and future planning. It is a relaxed way to meet neighbours, speak with City staff and have a say in what happens next. Learn more about Food for Feedback.
- Culture Days begins September 18 and runs until October 4, bringing free arts and cultural activities to locations across Burlington. It is a great opportunity to meet local creators, try something new and discover another side of our city. Explore Burlington’s Culture Days.
What are you most looking forward to this September?
